Dr Hiro, a native of Japan, graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 1998. He and his wife, who is also a chiropractor, opened their Springfield practice in 1999. He is calm, caring, and respectful with a versatile refined skill set. That combined with 25 years of experience has built his strong reputation in the community which attracts patients statewide.
“In my free time, I enjoy a simple life, blessed with my wife and two children. I also enjoy exploring all the beauty that Oregon offers, and the excitement and unscripted nature of sporting events. And yes, I am an avid Duck fan!”
Talece has been an LMT and at Hiro Chiropractic for 12 years. Having graduated from the Massage Therapy Program at Lane Community College, Talece is passionate about her work and helping care for people and heal from their injuries and pain.
“When patients share their stories of how much gratitude they have for how they feel so much better after treatment; or that their chronic pain feels more manageable, it is rewarding to be able to make a difference in aiding their healing process. I truly enjoy what I do and feel blessed and grateful to be in this medical profession.”
Myrna has been an LMT for 33+ years and specializes in iliopsoas/pelvic, lower back work, and migraine headaches.
“I started massaging as far back as I can remember, doing percussion (karate chopping) on my mothers back. I was maybe 8 or 9 then. Little did I know that 20 years later I’d find myself living on the other side of the country, and going to massage school in Riverside, California. My first experience as an LMT was working as a PT aide. I enjoyed results-oriented therapy 30+ years ago and even to this day.
I like to see people get up from my table feeling better than when they came in. I am a teacher at heart, so teaching my clients about what is happening, why it is happening and what can be done to help I believe facilitates a more complete healing.”
Rose is a massage therapist who grew up in Vietnam with over 10 years of experience in the field. She specializes in trigger points, neuromuscular, deep tissue, and Swedish style.
“I have always been in an environment that has emphasized the importance of natural medicine, which is what initially drove me to pursue the practice of massage therapy. A primary goal of mine is to help patients experience relief from their pain and tension, allowing them to live their lives to the fullest.”
Alisha, who goes by the name “Lu” at the office, has been practicing for 4 years as an LMT having graduated from Lane Community College and is beginning her first year here at Hiro Chiropractic.
“I initially became interested in massage therapy after dealing with some chronic pain and tension myself, and I wanted to help others feel better in their bodies too! I continue to be motivated to facilitate a stress-free space for people to relax and find relief in a stressful world.”
A fun fact about Lu is that she has been cooking and baking with her family ever since she was 4-years old, and even won the juniors baking competition when she was 11 at the Lane County Fair!
Maxx has been practicing massage since 2013 after graduating from Lane Community College’s massage program. In the years since, his passion for massage has only grown. He has found it to be a truly rewarding job as massage/bodywork can be very effective in helping people manage pain and injury. He has also found it to be a continually interesting field, as is one where there is always more to learn and many directions one may go with it. Some of the techniques he often incorporates are trigger point, myofascial, deep tissue, sports massage and pin & stretch. He views patient education/empowerment to be an important ingredient in the rehabilitation process and strives to include this when possible and advantageous. In his free time Maxx enjoys hanging out with his cats, occasional travel of various sorts as well as his life-long love of skateboarding.
